Website with direct booking for a therapist
João Sousa, Terapia Manual · Digitais Studio · Funchal · Madeira
Summary
João Sousa works in manual therapy and needed a website where services, prices and booking were clear. Digitais Studio built the website with direct booking and produced supporting content for his professional Instagram.

Context
For a service delivered by a single person, every minute spent answering the same questions is a minute not billed. The website had to do the screening work on its own.
Most enquiries started with the same sequence: what do you do, how much does it cost, do you have an opening this week. Three questions that don't need a person to answer, but without a website, always took one up.
There was also the barrier of the first session. Anyone who's never had manual therapy doesn't know what to expect from the space or the session, and that uncertainty delays booking more than the price does.
Being a solo service, any solution had to survive fully booked weeks. A website that demanded weekly attention would be abandoned by the second month.
And price, in a wellbeing service, is a question almost never asked directly. Hiding it doesn't avoid the question: it just delays the decision and takes longer to explain.
Approach
How we did it
We made services and prices visible, to filter enquiries before booking. That decision reduces the volume of messages and improves the quality of the ones that come in.
We connected booking directly to the channel the client already used, instead of introducing a new tool that would require changing habits.
The constraint was working without a team: anything that required daily upkeep was off the table. The website was designed to not need anyone feeding it.
We produced photography of the space and the session to give context to anyone who's never been, answering in image the question no one asks in writing.
We created supporting content for the professional Instagram from the same photography session.
We wrote each service description starting from the problem people arrive with, rather than the name of the technique.
We reduced the path to booking to a single visible step from anywhere on the site.
What we delivered
Website with services, prices and direct booking
Photography of the space and a session
Content for social media
A structure with no daily upkeep, built for solo work
Result
What changed
The screening questions are now answered by the website, freeing up time previously spent on messages.
Anyone booking already knows the price and what will happen in the session, which reduces cancellations and misunderstandings.
Instagram now has its own material of the space, instead of generic images.
Price stopped being a topic negotiated by message and became public information.
The first session became more predictable for newcomers, because the space and process have already been seen before walking in.
This project is mostly Websites work. That page explains what it includes, how it works and what gets delivered.
