Launch video for a clinic
MedicBite Clinic · Digitais Studio · Funchal · Madeira
Summary
MedicBite is a clinic in Madeira that needed to announce its opening and explain what it does to people who had never set foot inside. Digitais Studio produced the launch video, direction, filming and post-production, and the follow-up content for the clinic's Instagram.

Context
A new clinic competes with names that have been in the market for years. The first obstacle isn't price: it's trust. Someone looking for a healthcare service wants to see the space, understand who treats them, and feel it's a well-cared-for place before booking.
The problem is that almost none of that can be explained in writing. A service description doesn't show whether the waiting room is pleasant or whether the team is friendly. It has to be shown, or it doesn't come across.
The clinic came to us with an opening date already set and no material of its own. There was no photography of the space, no video, and the Instagram profile was empty. Everything produced had to serve the launch and keep serving afterwards.
There was also a practical condition: nothing could be filmed with patients in shot. That meant conveying trust without relying on the easiest option, which is showing people being treated.
Approach
How we did it
We filmed the real space, with no set built for the occasion: entrance, waiting room, treatment room and equipment. That decision was deliberate, in a healthcare service, anything that looks overproduced raises suspicion rather than resolving it.
The constraint that shaped everything was the clinical calendar: filming had to happen without interrupting appointments. We planned the shoot in short blocks, room by room, so we could stop and resume whenever needed.
We structured the piece to answer the questions of someone who's never been inside, where it is, what it's like, who treats you, what happens there, in the order those questions occur to someone searching.
We cut the video into vertical versions for Instagram, alongside the main piece, so the same day of filming would fuel the launch and the weeks after it.
We left the material organised by theme and by room, with readable file names, so the clinic could reuse it in posts over the following months without depending on us.
We chose a restrained editing style, slow cuts, ambient sound, no trailer-style music, because in healthcare, excessive visual energy pushes people away rather than drawing them in.
What we delivered
Launch video with direction, filming and post-production
Vertical versions of the main piece for Reels and stories
Supporting content for the feed, produced in the same session
Photography of the space and equipment
Original files delivered to the clinic, organised by theme
Result
What changed
The clinic now has its own material to explain the space, instead of describing in words something that only makes sense when seen.
The profile stopped starting from zero: by opening day there was already published content and more in reserve.
The team ended up with a library of video and photography that's still used long after the launch, and that doesn't need new production for every post.
The clinic can now answer anyone asking what the space looks like with a link, rather than a description.
This project is mostly Video & Photo work. That page explains what it includes, how it works and what gets delivered.
